The project is part of the activity of the MASPPRO (Russian abbreviation of “Мастерская Прикладного ПРОтеста», i.e. The Studio of Applied Protest).

The activity of the MASPPRO is practical, rooted in everyday life and at the same time it is utopian, aimed at achieving a better future.

The MASPPRO is specializing on the creation of mobile objects of resistance, training and agitation in the public space. Often, these objects are adapted for both the housing and the protest work, that is, combine elements of private interiors and public spaces such as libraries, workers ' clubs, cinemas.

The practice of the MASPPRO is based on the experience of homeless people, refugees, migrants and combines the traditions of Russian constructivism with a children's game.

Special attention in the activity of the studio is paid to the search for alternative ways of public commemoration , based on the principles of performativity, mobility, democracy in production and use.
